Continuing Reformation in the Church: The Sabbath

The Sabbath was established in Genesis and commanded in Exodus. In Nehemiah, we see the Sabbath being profaned. The Sabbath is a day the people of God are to rest and to reflect on the redemptive works of God. But how does the Fourth Commandment apply to the Church who are called out followers of the Lord of the Sabbath? True freedom in Christ releases the shackles of Legalism and its list of don'ts for the Sabbath and replaces them with an eternal rest in our Savior's mercy and grace.
