What To Expect
Bell's Campground Baptist Church is a multi-generational church that aims to feel more like a home, while equipping you to make your home more like a house of worship during the week.
We're fairly casual. So, no need to worry about running out to buy a new dress or suit. Come as you are, and be open to hearing the Word preached and engaging with the Lord in praise and worship.
A Sunday morning worship lasts about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship leader and praise team. Pastor Keith Tillman (PhD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) typically preaches from the ESV in an expository style, diving deep into the text to mine the richness of Scripture.
We value Gospel, Worship, Discipleship, Family and Community, and we encourage parents to involve your children in the main worship experience as soon as they enter elementary school.
We provide quiet activities, games and coloring pages to keep younger children engaged while they sit with you in the service. Childcare is available for preschoolers, and we have a nursing mothers' lounge with video feed so you don't miss a moment if your baby gets fussy.
ADA accessible parking for the sanctuary is in our upper parking lot as you drive past the front porch.
When attendance approaches 140, gatherings starts to feel overcrowded. On those mornings, some of our members will move to the overflow room in the adjacent building to worship via closed circuit video so that first-time guests will have a place to sit in the worship center. You're welcome to join us in either room.
Our pastors/elders - Pastor Keith Tillman and Pastor Brent Hodson - along with members of the congregation would love to get to know you. Hang out a minute or two afterwards. Make a new friend in Christ. We've been told we're one of the friendliest congregations around. We invite you to explore ways to become more acquainted with Bell's Campground.
