Next Generation Disciples

Worship Center lower level, Rooms S-17, S-18, S-19
Our youngest disciples, ages birth through 4 years, are learning to be secure despite separation anxiety and making new friends with children and caregivers alike. While they may not be ready to respond to the Gospel, their young minds are beginning to grasp basic truths about Jesus.
Our infant room (S-18) is furnished with age-appropriate toys, cribs, a changing table, and rocking chairs. The toddler room (S-19) has a bathroom for potty training and lots of educational toys for inquisitive minds and active hands.
Childcare is available for this age group during the morning worship service.
Room S-17 is a nursing lounge with video feed of the worship service for mothers and babies.

As children learn to read and comprehend, Bible literacy is a fundamental step in discipleship.
We use Lifeway's The Gospel Project curriculum and materials to teach young learners how every story in the Bible points to Jesus. Lesson plans follow the Bible stories in chronological order over a three-year cycle. A young disciple could study through the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation four times between Kindergarten and graduation.
"Big Picture Questions" introduce foundational concepts of Christianity, much like the catechisms of old.
Fun activities and take-home resources help parents reinforce the Bible lesson and engage young students in active learning during the week.

Older kids continue in The Gospel Project discipleship track that they began in Kindergarten. More thought and interaction is involved in the lesson as students learn to apply spiritual principles to their daily lives.
Through discussion, journaling and prayer, children practice expressing what they know and believe about Christ.
This may be the second time through the entire Bible for some children. It is our prayer, with this repetition, teachers are able to sow and water seeds that spring up into salvation.

By now, the world has thrown more than a few obstacles in the way of most adolescents. How do they reconcile the big questions that come when life gets difficult?
The Gospel Project for Students stresses one central truth for each lesson - a life application that is rooted in Scripture and points to Christ.
Because all of our children's classes are studying the same Bible passage as their parents, families can have a built-in topic of discussion for Saturday dinner or Sunday lunch.
